Paper nest dolls inspiration post

Hi everyone,

Phew what a busy week it's been .... and scorchio too its really taken it out of me I can tell you!

I'm back today to share a little Paper nest dolls inspiration for the blog here.

This week I have created another Summer themed card (i'm trying to hold off with the Christmas creations just yet even though I know the crafting world is in full on Christmas mode)

This is the super adorable Avery with Seashell and you can find her here

I coloured her up with my Spectrum Noir Pencils as always!

I managed to fined some lovely summer dies on Ebay, they are unbranded but I love them!
The sentiment die is by MFT.

I hope you like it, enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Petal Lu Challenge - June - Use Red

Hello lovelies,

Today I'm sharing my DT post for the fabulous Petal Lu Challenge and this month we would like to see you use RED FLOWERs on your project..... remember you can also use other colours too but there must be at least one red flower on your project!

This month I tried something a little different ......

I used this wonderful image by Hannah Lynn Queen of Hearts digi stamp from Crafts & Me and I coloured her up with my Spectrum Noir Markers (this is my first time using SN's so be gentle lol).

I decided to add it to a small 7x5 canvas instead of a card. I painted the canvas black and created some turquoise texture past which I used to stencil hearts all over before adding my torn up backing papers.

Finally I embellished with die cut hearts, faux stitching and of course the star of the show my stunning Petal Lu flowers!

I do hope you like it and would love to see you come join in our challenge!

Crafter's Companio Cherry Green Release - 15th July

Hi everyone,

I'm so excited to share my very first assignment for Crafter's Companion/Spectrum Noir!

This week (Thursday to be precise) these wonderful stamps will be available on Hochanda, they are by Cherry Green and are a delight to work with.

They have all been coloured with my Spectrum Aqua markers ... this is the first time I have used them and the colours are amazing!

On this card I have added my Spectrum Sparkle pens to create a glittery background to offset the pretty image.

I went all sheena with this one and created the background using Glycerine and my spectrum aqua's. it was soooooooo much fun, i'm so grateful to sheen douglas for sharing this amazing technique.

I used the "Sheena" technique again on this one but first I stamped the images with white embossing powder to create a resist back ground.

And finally this is such a cute little card, for a change! I made 2 rosettes and layered them up for a very top heavy card lol!

Hope you like my inspiration and I do hope you will be tuning in to watch Hochanda this Thursday.

Paper Nest Dolls Challenge - June

Hi Guys,

I'm back again today with my DT post for the new challenge for June over at The Paper Nest Dolls Challenge, and remember we are all about the "Anything goes" so get colouring and pop on over to enter!!

This week I chose to use the super sweet Ellie with Cactus, this image is so on trend at the mo and as soon as my eldest daughter spotted this card she nabbed it for her room lol

I coloured her with my Spectrum Noir Pencils and then re-outlined my image with a fine tipped pen

The papers were free with Making Cards magazine and go just perfectly with the image.

The sentiment is also from a free set from Making Cards!!

I hope you like it!
